Jim Webb has over twenty years of consulting experience. His consulting pedigree includes leadership positions in the strategy consulting practices of such prominent firms as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte & Touche, and EDS AT Kearney. He has helped clients take strategy and innovation to the bottom line in a wide variety of industries and has coached numerous executives to become more effective leaders. In addition to his consulting engagements, Jim is frequently found sharing management trends with several universities.
Prior to consulting, Jim served as the Commander of a Special Forces "Green Beret" Detachment and led a research engineering team for Texas Instruments on the top secret Strategic Defense "Star Wars" Initiative. He has since taken time away from consulting to be the Director of Strategy of an international manufacturing company and as a Senior Manager with AT&T.
Jim publishes widely and frequently speaks at conferences and corporations around the world. MORE INFO
Jim was educated at West Point, the University of Dallas, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in both applied science and business. He is currently an Adjunct Professor teaching graduate level strategy courses at Southern Methodist University.
On a more personal note he is also the elected President of the 30,000 member Olympic-affiliated United States Judo Association and a past President of the Dallas - Fort Worth Chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants - the certifying body for management consulting. He is also an internationally recognized speaker and writer on the literary character Sherlock Holmes.
